Davidson explained this further in his discourse about the relationship between belief and sensations. His argument is that the existence of belief entails the existence of sensation, and so the existence of the belief entails its own truth (p. 156). It is clear that sensation, amo ng other faculties and factors, enable individuals to justify beliefs on the reason of causal relationship. But his view is not as simplistic as those other theories that set striking import on sensation.
